Going Quantum

I am sitting here reading about the nature of Light and the Wave-Particle Theory both of which lead me to read about Photons, which led me to read about the Uncertainty Principle Schrödinger and Werner Heisenberg and now I’m sitting here watching an animation about of the Double Slit Experiment.

The point is that:

  • Everything is light because light was source’s first manifestation of itself (the child of the great OM – the first vibration, the first movement, the first division of the oneness).
  • Light/photons shows properties of both wave and particles because everything is light.
  • The physical, static world is made up of light as particles.
  • The non-physical, intangible world/s is made up of light as waves.
  • Quantum physics is awesome.
  • Quantum physics hurts my head.
  • I hope Schroedinger really did have a cat.
  • I hope he didn’t put it in a box repeatedly.
  • Okay, continued reading. Turns out he didn’t have a cat. Good, I guess. For the cat, anyway.

The Copenhagen interpretation is one of the earliest and most commonly taught interpretations of quantum mechanics.[1] It holds that quantum mechanics does not yield a description of an objective reality but deals only with probabilities of observing, or measuring, various aspects of energy quanta, entities that fit neither the classical idea of particles nor the classical idea of waves. The act of measurement causes the set of probabilities to immediately and randomly assume only one of the possible values.”


Except that it’s not random. The act of measurement aka observing causes one of the probabilities to ‘become real’ (for lack of a better term) because of the observer’s consciousness and the beliefs they already hold about what they will see, I.e.the law of attraction in action – you attract more of what you already believe into your experience of reality. In Schrödinger’s example: If I believe that cat’s going to be dead when I lift up the box, it will be. If I believe it will be alive when I lift up the box, it will be.

Something to look into that’s related that is not about a creepy kind of forever-undead cat in a box is “The double-slit experiment.

“Quantum entanglement is a physical phenomenon that occurs when pairs or groups of particles are generated or interact in ways such that the quantum state of each particle cannot be described independently – instead, a quantum state may be given for the system as a whole.”

Measurements of physical properties such as position,momentumspinpolarization, etc. performed on entangled particles are found to be appropriately correlated. For example, if a pair of particles is generated in such a way that their total spin is known to be zero, and one particle is found to have clockwise spin on a certain axis, then the spin of the other particle, measured on the same axis, will be found to be counterclockwise. Because of the nature of quantum measurement, however, this behavior gives rise to effects that can appear paradoxical: any measurement of a property of a particle can be seen as acting on that particle (e.g. by collapsing a number of superimposed states); and in the case of entangled particles, such action must be on the entangled system as a whole. It thus appears that one particle of an entangled pair “knows” what measurement has been performed on the other, and with what outcome, even though there is no known means for such information to be communicated between the particles, which at the time of measurement may be separated by arbitrarily large distances.

Hells yea.
Because, everything is influencing everything all of the time and time and space and the rules that go with it are just things that we made up. The particles ‘know’ when you’re interacting with the other particle because everything is consciousness including your thoughts, the consciousness that is you and including those particles, the consciousness that is them. We all come from and are made up of the same stuff – light – so everything is interconnected.

I also dig this fact that:

Okay, now my brain hurts a little.
I just thought I’d share because if you hold an understanding of metaphysics and spiritual concepts like I do, then this is exciting and interesting for sure!
